Walker, Texas Ranger fans are a specific breed: they know the theme song by heart, they have opinions about Trivette, and they can tell you which season introduced Gage and Sydney. Here's what to buy them.
The complete series
The full eight-season DVD set (nearly 200 episodes) is the definitive Walker gift. If that's over budget, the season sets are sold individually; season one is the natural starting point, and the later seasons have the strongest fight choreography, much of it directed by Aaron Norris.
The theme song
"Eyes of a Ranger," sung by Chuck Norris himself, was released on the soundtrack and is available digitally. It is not a great song. It is a perfect gift. A vinyl or CD of the soundtrack, if you can find one, is the collector's version.
Texas Ranger memorabilia
Replica badges, Texas Ranger books and Lone Star merchandise land well with Walker fans, who tend to be Texas-curious even if they've never been. The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco sells official items through its own store, which is the non-affiliate, fully-legit option.
Western wear
Walker's look is simple: denim, a plain shirt, boots, and a hat that stays on during a fight. A good pair of boots or a quality felt hat is the gift that lasts; skip the costume-grade stuff.
The reboot
If they liked The CW's 2021 Walker with Jared Padalecki, its seasons are also available on disc and streaming. Just don't call it the "real" Walker in front of a purist.
